These terms are an agreement between you and MergeHop ("we", "us") for using MergeHop, the add-on for Google Sheets™, and mergehop.com. By installing or using MergeHop you agree to them. If you use MergeHop for an organization, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.
1. What you get
MergeHop fills a Google Docs™ template from rows in a Google Sheet and saves Docs and PDFs in your Google Drive™. It runs on Google's Apps Script platform and depends on Google services and limits we do not control (for example Google's daily limits on how many documents an account can create, and the 10 MB limit on PDF exports).
2. Plans
- Free: up to 30 documents a month per Google account. One row made into a Doc, a PDF, or both counts as one document. Failed rows do not count. The count resets on the first day of each month.
- Paid plans (Pro, Team, and the Founding member offer) are listed on mergehop.com/#pricing. They are not on sale yet. When they are, prices, billing period, and what each includes will be shown before you pay, and payment will be handled by a third party payment processor, which we will name here before any paid plan goes on sale.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If you are not happy, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. MergeHop is free for now; paid plans are coming soon, and this section applies once they exist.
- We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects you. The Founding member price stays the same for as long as that subscription stays active.
3. Your content
Your spreadsheets, templates, and the documents MergeHop makes belong to you. You give MergeHop permission to read and change them only as needed to do what you ask. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for what you put in your templates and sheets, and for having the right to use any personal data in them (for example names and addresses of your clients or students).
4. Fair use
Do not use MergeHop to break the law, to send spam, to harm others, or to try to break, overload, or copy the add-on. Do not resell MergeHop without our written permission. You must also follow Google's terms for the Google services you use.
5. Check your documents
MergeHop fills in what is in your sheet, as your sheet displays it. Please check important documents (contracts, offer letters, invoices, certificates) before you send or sign them. MergeHop is a tool, not legal, tax, or professional advice.
6. No warranty
MergeHop is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to make it reliable, but we do not promise it will be error free or always available, and Google may change or limit the services it depends on.
7. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for MergeHop in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you have not paid us anything.
8. Ending
You can stop using MergeHop at any time by removing the add-on. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. We may stop offering MergeHop; if we do, we will give paid users reasonable notice and refund any unused prepaid time.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date and, for important changes, tell users in the add-on or by email at least 30 days before they apply.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, except where the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be waived.
